B. Cool-Aid — the silky soul duo of Pink Siifu and Ahwlee — have shared a new track titled “Wassup,” featuring Devin Morrison, Pher Turner, and MoRuf. It’s the second cut they’ve shared thus far from their recently announced third LP, Leather Blvd. (due out March 31 via Lex Records), following its lead single, “Cnt Go Back (Tell Me).” That track features V.C.R., Jimetta Rose, Liv.e, Butcher Brown, and Maurice II, and is a certified Song You Need.
Today’s offering is another guest-packed, five-minute-plus entry point into the B. Cool-Aid Cinematic Universe©, sticking to its predecessor’s smooth aesthetic, meant to mirror the texture of the album’s titular fabric. It comes with a multi-act visual treatment courtesy of Matt Zolly and Noah Porter, centering a very meta video shoot and bookended by two lighthearted skits.
