New York no-wave pioneers Bush Tetras are back, announcing their first album in 11 years and only their fourth-ever studio LP over the course of more than four decades and a slew of lineup changes. They Live in My Head is due out July 28 via Wharf Cat Records, produced by Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley (now BT’s drummer as well).

The new song is a driving post-punk jam in the style of the group’s greatest hits, placing the shredding guitar of Pat Place and the anthemic vocals of Cynthia Sley (both founding members of the band) over a steady groove from their new rhythm section. Listen to “Things I Put Together” and check out They Live in My Head’s cover art and tracklist below.
