Gunna has new music on the way. In a tweet shared on the rapper’s 30th birthday Wednesday night (June 14), he wrote shared a title, “a Gift & a Curse,” a cover illustration, and a pre-save link. Though no due date or further info on the project’s format is apparent from the tweet, Complex reports that a Gift & a Curse is an album (Gunna’s first since his release from jail in December after being indicted in the ongoing YSL trial) and that it’s scheduled to arrive this Friday, June 16. The FADER has reached out to a representative of Gunna’s label for clarification.
Earlier this month, Gunna shared “bread & butter,” a track in which he addresses allegations that the plea deal facilitating his release amounted to snitching.
