070 Shake has shared a new song called “Black Dress,” her first solo single since the release of her August 2022 EP, Double Sided: Indie. It’s a stadium-sized, minor-key pop ballad with a tinge of something more sinister, an aesthetic Shake has always thrived inside.
The new track comes with a music video courtesy of Noah Lee, who places her at the scene of a plane crash, floating down from a tree to the ground, where she glides through the wreckage and plays tug of war with a parachute. According to a press release, the song is our first taste of Shake’s new album, title and release date TBA.
